Spring/ Summer 2013

Hello my lovely dolls,

   So here on the east coast we are finally getting some steady warm weather , with the occasional rainy day here and there, other than that the cold days are finally out for a few months!!  So today I thought it would be cool to just check out whats going on for the trends this summer 2013!

Stripes are one of my favorite patterns that are becoming popular this summer , following the monochromatic trend from the winter. I think black and white is very sexy !

Hawaiian prints have been a trend in my area lately loving the colors also the prints are amazing , filled with hibiscus flowers , delicate humming birds and palm trees this trend is so A-mazing !

Bermuda shorts , do you remember these were a trend maybe back in the 90's for me , but they are coming back , not only in denim, I enjoy seeing these shorts in Lenin material the most . This is one trend that I hope sticks around for a bit you can always dress these shorts up or down depending on the occasion.

Venting !

It's been awhile and I have a lot going on right now , I think its time to maybe place some energy into a place of positivity !  OK so lets update ...

It looks like the last time I updated anything was around 2011 (maybe) ?? well since then I'm still waitressing and as usual customers never cease to amaze me . I also have a part time job ( which is not out of the usual) I'm now working for Michael Kors, It's a great company and I enjoy working for the company they have a lot of opportunities to move up in the company and that's what I love most other than the clothes and handbags haha. I'm still in school but only for about 3 in a half more months, then I will be done . If you don't remember I'm in school for Fashion and Retail Management, from the Art Institute . So things are looking bright for my future right now and with God's Grace I will continue to move forward and Succeed. Ive been out of school for 9yrs now and finally achieving my bachelors degree anybody can do it !!

I was looking back through some of my older post and It looks like I had a little action going on when I was posting regularly so lets get this back on track !

i know its been a few weeks but i just started back  with my fall quarter at the Art Institute of Charleston.  I'm taking four classes and the work load is TREMENDOUS ! but what i thought would be cool since Im in school for fashion retail management, would be to show you guys project and things Im doing as Im finishing up with my college education in the next year , if you guys like that idea please let me know , and that will also keep me motivated to keep posting , hopefully i get some more love , I do enjoy blogging . well hunnis i will ttyl

Cleaning out my Closet

Hey Dolls , 

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was Great worked all weekend so I can't wait to enjoy my day off , on Wednesday I have a mini shopping trip With one of my co-workers ( I said "mini" because I wont be getting much ) , I really like her style so I will definitely have to take a pic of her OOTD, and share with everybody !! well anyways , I went out Saturday night after Work to Celebrate my cousins B-day , ( pics coming soon) well I was looking for a pair of shoes to complete my outfit , and as I was shuffling through my shoes , I came across these Shoedazzle shoes That Ive only worn once or twice, Really cute shoes , was gonna give them away but I decided that I'm gonna keep them, to cute to let go !!! 

All black laced on top  zipper in back  they come up to my ankle ..

I think the heel is 4" or so ...

Hey Dolls !

        I hope everyone's week went well , I got off from work a little early today so I decided to catch up with my blogging. okay so I have a few things I want to share with you guys !!  I went to Forever 21 last week and picked up two items , a sheer Magenta button Down and a long string of pearls. I think its important to have a set of pearls , I wasn't a big fan of pearls at one time but now I absolutely love them, I already have a pearl set already , so I picked up a brownish color and now i want the silver LOL. Also When  I was in Atlanta I brought a  pair of purple (wine color) pumps that I love from Rainbow, so I wanted to share those with you too !! I cant wait to wear these items. Sooooo I was thinking that  I really want to focus this blog on items that I buy From Nail polish to Socks lol  and OOTD post ! I have also been reading  some fashion books , lately will also do some reviews too, okay so here are some pics let me know what you think .

Whats your favorite Color ???

Well for once in forever ( atleast that I can remeber ) it looks like we might have a fall in charleston, this year !! and im uber excited. If  anyone has ever lived in charleston knows its either HOT or COLD !! we rarely get an in between, last year it was hot until October rolled around. Well anywho, lol for the fall i enjoy wearing layers , blazers, skirts and flat boots and also Fall colors, fall colors that i enjoy most are deep corals, dark mustard Yellow, dark brown, red, and deep Purple.
